Hi @ all,

the next round begins, EgoShare Uploader 1.6.0 will come soon. There are many new options and optimizations.

Here some facts :

• Show and hide options & status frame (+/- buttons)
• Send the links by mail (used raw sockets to connect via SMTP)
• I spent some new 32bit alpha-channel icons
• Ability to post new links to a webpage (in progress)

The new version will get many other features and i will post some screenshots and drop some lines from time to time.

This is the actual changelog:

• + added encryption of sensitive userdata stored in registry
• ! fixed some display problems on different themes
• + added options for compression for files > 300MB
• ! fixed compression routine and added progressbar
• + added self-registering needed dll files at runtime
• + added cool dropshadow (works only on WinXP)
• + added ability to post link to a webpage (sample php file included)
• + added ability to post links as email
• + added more comfort by hiding options & statistics on demand
• + added self-closing messagebox with warning to shutdown the pc
•    after all files are uploaded, so user can abort the shutdown
• ! fixed the flickering of statusbar when statusmonitors blinking
